An Innovative Idea
BBH New York had a unique challenge: How to create a more immersive first-person experience for their client, Axe, that involves the company’s new initiative called “Hair Action.” Luckily, Luxurious Animals had demoed to a small BBH audience months earlier a project they had been working on with their audio partner, Antfood. Part of this project involved 3D sound that gave the listener the sensory stimulation of being in the center of the action. This method, rarely–if ever–used in the advertising industry, would engage a user’s auditory sensors and imagination. SynthEyes Wide Open

The holographic effects in “Social Networking”, the third video in our Adobe Open Screen Project series, involved two scenes that required superimposing graphic objects over live-action footage. The plan was to insert a semi-transparent newspaper over the bendable screen in the cafe scene, and a 3D animated video game racetrack onto a table in the final scene. Both instances were filmed with 3D camera movements and therefore the 3D assets had to motion match to the video. To do that we tracked the footage using SynthEyes. View full article »
