Just in time for the colder weather, Luxurious Animals and C-K partnered on the Panera Soup microsite and banner campaign. We flew out to Chicago for a two-day photo shoot, managing visual effects supervision with photographer Michael Mays on steam, motion assets and photo placement for interactive components.

After our in-house team performed color correction, retouching, and compositing, we set to work designing an immersive panning site experience, complete with a fast-paced, addictive memory game, the Soup Scrambler.

The site presents an overhead view of a rich butcher-block chock full of delicious Panera soups and their wholesome ingredients like Thumbelina carrots, real cream, Asiago cheese and all-natural chicken. Powered by HTML5 coded animation and responsive design, the site performs equally well on desktop PCs and tablets.

Banner Campaign
To support the site, we created an engaging banner experience that was placed on Cooking.com and Epicurious. The rich media banners featured a branded video from Panera's head chef, Dan Kish along with our hero tabletop that panned across the screen to reveal special ingredient cards. The standard banners incorporated the fun soup scrambling animation found in the game and "today's soups" menus.
